IDEXX Australia is pleased to announce the appointment of Simon Fee to the position of General Manager (Commercial) – Australia. Simon will commence in this integral leadership role in October 2019, and will be based at IDEXX Rydalmere, Sydney - Australia.
The General Manager (Commercial) – Australia is a critical senior commercial position, providing leadership, management and oversight of the Australian sales, ANZ marketing, ANZ customer experience and Australian veterinary medical teams. Simon will be responsible for leading these important business functions (including all line of businesses) through the execution of our strategic plan, driving long-term growth of the business through key commercial objectives and strategies, strengthening our customer experience and delivering on our financial goals.
Simon comes to IDEXX with over 20 years’ experience in Animal Health, with over 15 years of management and leadership experience. Simon’s senior experience includes Sales Director, Head of Sales, National Sales Manager, Regional Sales Manager and Operations Manager, along with a non-executive Directorship. Prior to Simon’s corporate career he managed the family farming operation. He continues to be an active member and non-executive Director with DairyNSW.
Simon brings to IDEXX a unique mix of veterinary industry, animal health, companion animal and large animal commercial experience. Along with international secondments for special projects leading to transformational change supporting long-term business growth. Simon holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Macquarie Graduate School of Management and has lectured and tutored in marketing at the Faculty of Business & Economics (Macquarie University).
Simon is passionate about people and customers, having a proven track record of commercial execution that’s aligned with the business strategy. Equally, he’s focused on strengthening the culture built on high performance.
