Introducing Keiran Wicks into the integral role of the General Manager (Laboratory Operations) – Australia & New Zealand

We would like to introduce our new General Manager (Laboratory Operations) - Australia & New Zealand Keiran Wicks. Keiran commenced in the role on the 3rd February 2020 from NSW Health Pathology. 

The General Manager (Laboratory Operations) – Australia & New Zealand is an integral role, providing strategic leadership of our six (6) laboratories across Australia and New Zealand to deliver a laboratory service that exceeds the expectations of our customers via quality management, a team-based customer centric culture supported by operational excellence. 

Kieran started out his career as a Biomedical Scientist and comes to IDEXX with over 15 years’ experience in human health laboratory services spanning a timeframe which has seen major consolidation and technology change. Kieran’s background includes significant leadership experience in the pathology sector, having held roles such as Operations Manager and Director roles for organisations including NSW Pathology, Australian Clinical Labs (formally Healthscope) and Laverty Pathology (part of Healius formally Primary Healthcare) and including their veterinary pathology divisions.

Kieran is a passionate family man and equally passionate about people. He supports empowering his team to deliver impactful and sustained results to better support our customers. IDEXX is excited to be welcoming someone with Kieran’s experience, knowledge, capability and expertise.
