IDEXX Australia is excited to announce the appointment of Doug Sutherland as Business Manager–Sales. Doug is a long-term employee of IDEXX, having been with the business for 9 years. With a wealth of animal health and veterinary industry knowledge and having been in the industry for more than 25 years, he is eager to continue to help Australian vets.

Doug is taking over from Jim Aspinall. As of February 26th 2021, Jim transitioned to a well-deserved retirement where he plans to spend time with his growing family. We thank Jim for his valuable contribution to IDEXX and the veterinary industry throughout his career, and wish him and his family all the very best.

In Doug's role as Business Manager–Sales, his focus is to lead our skilled Sales Team, and to work alongside our Regional Laboratory Operations Managers and all other areas of the business to ensure that we strengthen the relationships with existing customers while embarking on and developing new ones. The role is integral to ensuring we continue to meet our customers’ needs as well as exceed their expectations across all touchpoints of the business.
