Down the microscope

For our quarter two down the microscope we look at a malignant neoplasm with Dr Helen Peam. 

Case: Malignant Neoplasm found on skin
Diagnosis: Cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma with evidence of lymphatic invasion.
Dr Helen Peam comments: There is marked desmoplasia and multifocal infiltrates of neutrophils, lymphocytes, and plasma cells. Aggregates of neoplastic cells are present within lymphatics.
